Join the Scattered Authors’ Society

I’d love to join the SAS!

Membership of the Scattered Authors’ Society is open to all traditionally published writers for young people whose publishers are based in the UK or Ireland.

If your publisher is listed in the current edition of the Children’s Writers’ and Artists’ Yearbook (published annually by Bloomsbury) then you are eligible for membership of the SAS.

At this point, self-published only authors are not eligible for membership.

Membership is currently a one-off fee of £15 for life. This covers the basic costs of running a website, a professional Zoom account and a bank account.

Please complete all the required fields. These membership criteria have been set for administrative purposes and do not imply criticism of other forms of publishing. Many of our members self-publish as well as traditionally publish.
